Hill Agency: PURITYdecay is a heart-pounding Indigenous cybernoir detective game developed by Achimostawinan Games. The game is set in the year 2762 and revolves around the character of Meeygen Hill, a hardboiled detective who takes on a seemingly straightforward case of a murdered girl. However, as the case progresses, Hill finds himself drawn deeper into conspiracy and intrigue that goes way beyond his neighbourhood.
The game offers an immersive experience set in a never-before-seen cybernoir Indigenous future inspired by pulpy noir mysteries, Ghost in the Shell, and Blade Runner. The world is filled with colorful characters and is saturated in the Cree language done up in neon. Players can explore Hill's beloved city or brave the deceptively bright Risen City and perhaps discover the origin of the shadow that looms over them both. In Hill Agency, players are not just playing a detective, they are one. The game doesn't tell players if they are on the right track or even have the right suspect, that's all on them. Players must uncover clues and find new witnesses and suspects by wandering the streets and using the tools at their disposal to connect the clues and then make their accusations, if they have the nerve.
